Keira and Scharae hosted a NYE party at Nana & Papa's house this year. There was a bonfire with polish dogs and marshmallows, floats, veggies, chips and pico (made with my new food processor!) and hot tubbing! After the girls were in bed the adults played dice and card games while waiting to ring in the new year!
The girls got these warm cuddly pj pants and bathrobes from Nana and Papa for Christmas. They're practically living in them!
Scharae helped Papa shoot off Old Betsy "at midnight" (around 9:30 or so) before heading to bed. She did great...until it got mentioned that sometimes those guns can bump and hurt someone's shoulder. Then she suddenly decided it had hurt her and cried for all she was worth. But really, I'm pretty sure she was fine ;)
