Only a few weeks late...

Almost a month ago I took the girls to a local nursery. They were having a free spring bulb planting class for kids. It was great-they came away with a ton of extra dirt and a planted pot all ready for spring!

It was really pretty neat. I don't think I'd ever seen a pot planted like this-first a little dirt, then their three red tulip bulbs, some more dirt to almost cover them and then the pansy on top with more dirt pushed in around it. And Voila! The pansy should live all winter and then up will come the tulips around it!
