Last Monday while Keira was at school I decided to take Scharae to EZ Orchard for some pumpkin patch fun. When we left it wasn't raining. We should have known better:
When we got there she said "It's drip-dropping hard. We'd better go and get my pumpkin fast so we can get in the car again." She had mudboots and and coat, but was not interested in doing all the animals or corn maze or anything else. When we walked into the pumpkin patch part she saw a big bin or these little tiny white gourds and had her heart set on getting one of those for her pumpkin. I decided that since the farm store right next door had them, why pay to go on in and NOT do all the pumpkin patch stuff since she was adamant about only wanting to get a pumpkin.
So we walked over and she picked out a lovely little white gourd for $.49 and we got some apple cider and pumpkin doughnut samples as well as a Henry Winehard's Orange Cream Soda to share. We took it out to the car and she figured out what all the buttons and knobs and switches do and took us for "a ride around the countryside". She sure is a fun girl!
