Well, I haven't done so hot with keeping up on all the things we've done as a family lately, so here we go...
Our ward had a campout at River Bend which is some Church-owned property that has been turned into a pretty nice campground area. It's right on a river and has a nice open meadow at it, too. This was the girls' first time camping. It was pretty low-key as far as camping trips go, but we all had fun. I didn't get any pictures in tent, but it was a pretty great set up. We have a pretty good sized tent. In one half John and I had our beds set up. We put up the room-divider and put the girls in the other half. They each got a new backpack that came packed with sleeping bag, flashlight, compass, water bottle and whistle. So we laid out their sleeping bags inside their little Dora Playhut tent. Scharae sleeps in the little crawl-tube and Keira sleeps inside the tent part. They do this at home sometimes so they were pretty excited to do it while camping! We put them down when it got dark, around 9, and they didn't make a peep until about 8am! We got to sit around the campfire and play games/roast mallows with the rest of the ward. Good fun. Here's a couple pictures we did get taken:
